Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team at Seashell Professional Services Ltd. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
    • Record transactions and reconcile accounts
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
    • Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
  • Payroll and Accounts
    • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
    • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Computer and Technology
    • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Skills
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
