We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our team at SAS Accounting Inc. as a Bookkeeper.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
- Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as manage benefits and other employee-related expenses.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, as well as ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting software, including PCLaw in the Cloud, Caseware/Caseview, and MS Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be expected to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
