Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, client focus, and team player.
