We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Kin's Social. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, ensuring that we provide a positive and welcoming experience for all customers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely information to management.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, providing management with key performance indicators and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, working under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring a high level of energy and stamina.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player.

  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
