About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Sales Manager to join our team at ABB. This is a key position that will play a critical role in driving business growth and success.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, planning, and implementing service sales strategies to increase Installed Base (IB) penetration. They will analyze market trends and sales data to forecast future sales and adjust strategies accordingly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets by developing and coaching the Motion Service Sales team.
  • Promote value-added service product offerings supporting Life Cycle Management (LCM).
  • Achieve service sales volume by ensuring the team sells entire service portfolio.
  • Negotiate major contracts to secure service sales volume.
  • Set sales targets, periodically review, and achieve service sales targets by providing cost-effective solutions to customers and initiating improvement plans as needed.
  • Evaluate and share relevant information on IB data, sales leads, customers, and competitors' solutions with the team.
Requirements
  • 10 years of experience in drives and motors sales for the Canadian market.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business management or a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales management, leading a team, or managing projects.
  • Leadership: Ability to motivate and guide a sales team.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to convey strategies and feedback.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategies.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Skills in building and maintaining client relationships.
