**YOUR NEW CHALLENGE**
Reporting to the Optical Division Director, the Sales Manager manages a team of sales representatives across Canada for selected brands in our Optical Division.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and foster customer relationships
- Maintain and develop sales of major accounts
- Effectively manage a team of sales representatives to achieve growth and sales objectives
- Establish and ensure the implementation of a strategic business and marketing plan to expand the customer base and optimize sales.
- Establish objectives, supervision and performance control for sales representatives
- Establish performance indicators
- Follows up objectives with sales reps
- Must go out into the field to ensure that sales reps are performing well
- Raises the team's level of performance by proposing ideas and contributing to team development
- Keeps up to date with research and benchmark on the optical industry
- Questions current methods and constantly seeks to improve processes
**QUALITIES OF OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE**
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position.
- Bilingual French/English, both spoken and written.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage a budget and sales reports.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong team spirit and business acumen.
- Customer service oriented.
- Available to travel.
