Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared to high standards and customer satisfaction is met. As Senior Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 3-4 staff members, maintaining accurate records, and preparing budgets and cost estimates.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum (dependent on experience). You will work approximately 35-44 hours per week, enjoying a stable work-life balance in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain efficient inventory levels.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess stock.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, informing budget decisions.
- Prepare detailed budgets and cost estimates for future kitchen operations.
- Lead a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and training where needed.
- Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar kitchen supervisory role.
- Excellent knowledge of culinary genres and cooking techniques.
