Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at James Street Cafe & Grill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and supplies.
- Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, responding to complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Staff Management: Supervise and train staff to ensure they are meeting performance expectations, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Financial Management: Assist with financial tasks, including managing cash handling, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a restaurant management role
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods
- Client Focus: Strong ability to focus on customer needs and provide exceptional service
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with staff and customers
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
