About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Caterina Restaurant Corp. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless service delivery
    • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal levels
    • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are positive and memorable
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and train a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Financial Management
    • Manage cash handling, including balancing cash and completing balance sheets and cash reports
    • Monitor and control expenses, ensuring that they are within budget
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation, including social media and promotions
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, including food safety and sanitation procedures
    • Conduct regular health and safety audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Computer and Technology
    • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Experience with MS Access and other software applications
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with repetitive tasks
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods

    • Ability to work a 30-hour workweek
