Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Caterina Restaurant Corp. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management
- Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless service delivery
- Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal levels
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure that all customer interactions are positive and memorable
- Team Management
- Supervise and train a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Financial Management
- Manage cash handling, including balancing cash and completing balance sheets and cash reports
- Monitor and control expenses, ensuring that they are within budget
- Marketing and Sales
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation, including social media and promotions
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Health and Safety
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, including food safety and sanitation procedures
- Conduct regular health and safety audits to identify areas for improvement
- Computer and Technology
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with MS Access and other software applications
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
- Personal Suitability
- Accurate, client-focused, flexible, organized, reliable, and a team player
- Ability to work a 30-hour workweek
