Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Caterina Restaurant Corp. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management
- Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless service delivery
- Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal levels
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing complaints and concerns in a professional manner
- Develop and implement customer retention strategies to drive repeat business
- Team Management
- Supervise and mentor a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to drive team growth and development
- Financial Management
- Manage cash handling, balance sheets, and cash reports to ensure accurate financial records
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to drive profitability
- Marketing and Sales
- Participate in marketing planning and implementation to drive sales growth
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Proficient in MS Office, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with repetitive tasks. The work language is English.
