About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at PRESCOTT SMOKESHOP & GROCERY INC. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop a team of retail staff to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive a high level of service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities, and develop strategies to increase sales and drive business growth.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on sales, customer service, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in point of sale systems and other retail technology.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Retail business.
