Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Jaura Group Inc. as a key member of our retail operations.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Oversee and manage a team of staff, including apprentices, stagiaires, design team members, and other personnel to ensure seamless store operations.
- Staff Development: Hire, train, and arrange for training of staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, ultimately contributing to the store's success.
- Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimal store performance.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Issue Resolution: Effectively resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient stock management and minimize losses.
- Team Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers to achieve store objectives and maintain a positive work environment.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess staff performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Office and Volunteer Staff Supervision: Oversee and manage office and volunteer staff to ensure seamless store operations.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high expectations.
- Work Under Pressure: Demonstrate ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain composure in challenging situations.
- Attention to Detail: Possess strong attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors.
- Work Term and Hours: Work on a permanent basis with a standard 35-hour workweek.
- Work Language: Fluency in English is required.
