About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Jaura Group Inc. as a Store Supervisor. This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week, with a focus on leading a team of 5-10 staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff, including apprentices, sales workers, and office staff.
  • Merchandise Management: Order merchandise, authorize returns, and maintain inventory levels.
  • Customer Service: Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, and oversee payroll administration.
  • Store Operations: Establish work schedules, manage cash, and maintain a fast-paced and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail management role.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and maintain a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
