About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Jaura Group Inc. as a Team Lead. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong understanding of retail operations and a proven track record of success in managing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members.
  • Staff Development: Hire, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Operations Management: Establish work schedules, manage inventory, and oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to senior management.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting performance expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
