Program Overview

Westlund Management Development is a comprehensive 4-phased program designed for individuals who want to progress through our business operations and learn every aspect of how our organization operates. The program provides a unique opportunity to grow a sales territory, provide world-class customer service, and develop leadership skills.

Program Outline

  • Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer Service (12-Months) - A focus on warehousing procedures, shipping and receiving, and counter support for customer transactions.
  • Phase 2: Customer Relationships and Procurement (12-Months) - A focus on customer problem solving, relationship building with customers and vendors.
  • Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales (15-18 Months) - A focus on business development and sourcing sales, while expanding the customer base and creating stronger partnerships.
  • Phase 4: Leadership and Operations (3-Months) - Developing leadership skills, supporting the team through coaching and mentoring, and setting vision and strategy for the business.

Qualifications

  • University degree or college diploma - all disciplines of study will be considered.
  • Growth and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong interest in sales.
  • Desire to continuously learn and grow and possess a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent leadership, customer service and organizational potential.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team setting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license.
