Seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to spearhead energy transition initiatives at 09 Irving Oil Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining program initiatives aligned with our long-term business strategy.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute program structure, ensuring ongoing maintenance of scope, goals, reporting, budget, meeting cadence, and results.
  • Leverage technical expertise to influence achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Foster collaboration across the business, ensuring information is shared between work streams, milestones are met, and program members are held accountable.
  • Lead risk identification and mitigation efforts, escalating and communicating findings as required.
  • Communicate project performance and progress to all stakeholders, including formal presentations to senior leadership.
  • Presentation-ready messaging illustrating continual linkages to business strategy.
  • Align deliverables with program outcomes and manage project interdependencies.
  • Identify projects that are behind schedule or need to be pushed and escalate issues to management for action.
  • Cross-project resource management and field walks with contractors for scope clarification and budget development.
  • Support project managers in developing monthly stewardship reporting.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • 5-10 years' experience developing strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Related industry experience is an asset.
  • PMI Certification: CAPM or PMP considered an asset.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000, depending on qualifications and experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including hybrid work model, wellness support, and opportunity to give back to the community.
