Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Pest Control Training and Support Specialist to join our team at Rentokil North America. This role will focus on conducting on-the-job training and providing peer support for new Pest Specialists.



About the Role

  • This is a full-time position with a standard compensation rate of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as a Pest Specialist with Rentokil North America and be fully trained in the Rentokil NA Career Advancement Program (Career Level 4 or 5).
  • They must also hold an appropriate state/province applicator license & categories and have favorable ratings from their most recent Annual Performance Review.


Responsibilities

As a Pest Control Training and Support Specialist, you will:



  • Conduct on-the-job training for new Pest Specialists during their first 6 weeks, ensuring completion of weekly Field Training Checklists.
  • Provide peer support for new Pest Specialists, conducting weekly check-ins and monthly meet-ups during their first year, and completing associated documentation for records.
  • Successfully complete the Rentokil NA Field Training Certification Program with biannual recertification.


Additional Responsibilities

  • As a Certified Field Trainer, you will conduct ride-along for job candidates during the interview process, arrive on time and prepared for training, effectively train skills, and provide ample feedback in a timely manner.
  • You will also communicate weekly with the Trainee's Manager, evaluate and progress sign-off for Field Training Checklists, and develop a solid working relationship with the Trainee.
  • In your role as Peer Support, you will be available by phone (or text) to answer questions from the Trainee, help shape expectations for the Trainee, and assist in their transition from Trainee to productive employee.


Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pest Specialist with Rentokil North America.
  • Fully-trained in the Rentokil NA Career Advancement Program (Career Level 4 or 5).
  • Licensed with an appropriate state/province applicator license & categories.
  • Favorable ratings from the most recent Annual Performance Review.
