We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Configuration Management Specialist to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our IT organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and specializing in the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework.
Key Responsibilities:- Configure, manage, and optimize the CMDB, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Develop and enforce data management and governance policies to ensure data accuracy and completeness within the CSDM framework.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify new Configuration Items (CIs) and service relationships to be added to the CSDM.
- Provide guidance and training to ServiceNow users on CSDM-related topics, including CI management and data governance.
- Monitor and maintain the CMDB health dashboard, executing change requests for CMDB configuration as needed.
- 4+ years' experience working as a configuration manager or similar role.
- 4+ years' working within ServiceNow, with a strong understanding of ITSM and SPM modules.
- Excellent understanding of CSDM concepts and IT resource and configuration management principles.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Technical documentation skills and knowledge of network protocols, devices, and infrastructure components.
