Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Planning and Modeling Expert to join our Critical Infrastructure team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading multimodal transportation modeling projects, supervising junior staff, and preparing technical reports and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead multimodal transportation modeling projects, including day-to-day management of work scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Supervise and provide direction to junior staff to ensure efficient and high-quality project delivery.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations, and participate in client meetings and public information meetings.
  • Assist with team management and building, including mentoring and developing junior staff.

Requirements

  • University degree in Transportation Planning/Engineering or a related field, combined with relevant technical background and project management experience.
  • 5-10 years of multimodal transportation planning and/or traffic modeling and analytics experience.
  • Experience with transportation infrastructure and systems improvement practices in the GTA, and a good understanding of transportation planning/engineering issues and clients' and stakeholders' needs and requirements.
  • Intimate knowledge of transportation planning and traffic engineering practices, including Travel Demand Modelling/Forecasting, Highway Capacity Manual (HCM), and multimodal transportation modeling and analysis methods/tools.
