We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Planning and Modeling Expert to join our Critical Infrastructure team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading multimodal transportation modeling projects, supervising junior staff, and preparing technical reports and presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute work plans for multimodal transportation modeling projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and proposals, and participate in client meetings and public information sessions.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to identify project requirements and develop solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve project outcomes.
Requirements
- University degree in Transportation Planning, Engineering, or a related field, combined with relevant technical experience and project management skills.
- 5-10 years of experience in multimodal transportation planning and modeling, including master plans, environmental assessments, and feasibility studies.
- Strong knowledge of transportation planning and engineering practices, including traffic flow theory, highway capacity manual, and multimodal transportation modeling methods.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
