Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team at Fraser Plastics Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting systems.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position with a salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting principles, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries and prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports as required
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and other accounting software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
