Gear up for an exciting adventure as our Patient Care Improvement Manager In this vibrant fast-paced role, you'll be the foundation support to various healthcare initiatives lead by our physicians and partners. From supporting brainstorming ideas and bringing them to life with helping the leadership through complex healthcare challenges, your dynamic energy will shine as you navigate through budgets, deadlines, and the ever-changing landscape. With a heart dedicated to serving our physician members and a knack for community engagement, you'll be the catalyst for positive change. **JOB SUMMARY**
The Patient Care Improvement Manager manages a variety of initiatives prioritized by our physician members and medical community. The position is responsible and accountable for supporting physician leadership, facilitating creative strategy development, leading the design, implementation, evaluation, quality improvement, communication, risk management and reporting to effectively achieve the outcomes of a project within the established budget.
It is all about taking projects and complex health care strategies to the finish line with your team.
Dedication to serving our family physician members, actively involved and deeply passionate about your community, adaptable, caring and dynamic are all traits that will make you successful in this role.
The Manager is a specialist who leads from behind and supports physician leadership to do great work with improving patient care for our community. Often you will be working without a road map or any history to lean into - working with a blank page is enjoyable for you.
Central to this role is developing and maintaining relationships with the staff team, physician leads, partners, including local family physicians, nurse practitioners, specialists, patients, allied health partners, representatives of the Fraser Health Authority, local government, community partners, our local hospital, and local First Nations. The Manager is inspired to work with a range of partners to move project mountains and has great compassion for the complexities of health care.
What problems are we trying to fix? How do we do better? What are we missing? Who needs to be around the table with us to fix this problem? What has changed that we need to adapt to? What is in our authority for change? What is not?
These are comfortable questions for you, that you will ask daily.
As per our COVID vaccination policy, all staff and contractors must have full COVID-19 vaccination (have received a full series of a World Health Organization “WHO” approved vaccine against infection by SARS-COV-2, or a combination of approved WHO vaccines) and show proof of vaccine.
