Job Summary

The Human Resources Manager will provide leadership and direction to the HR team, ensuring the delivery of effective HR practices and management of company-wide human resources/talent management programs. This role will ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, motivate and lead by example, and support a safe and welcoming work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction, mentoring, performance objectives, and delivery of performance evaluations for the HR team.
  • Implement HR strategic plans as directed.
  • Provide HR advice and support to managers and team members.
  • Manage programs such as OH&S, recruitment, attendance, on-site orientations, etc.
  • Manage Leave of Absence files, including return to work program and processes.
  • Lead investigations into team member Relations matters.
  • Support and coach Management through effective involuntary termination processes.
  • Facilitate coaching sessions and provide input for conflict resolution.
  • Assist with training implementations and deliveries.
  • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma; post-secondary education in HR or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • HR Designation an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources; 3 years in management.
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service-oriented communication.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and JDE; HRIS experience an asset.
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License.
