Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team at The Richmond Academy of Dance Ltd. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the flow of information within the team
  • Direct and control daily operations
  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  • Answer electronic enquiries
  • Oversee development of communication strategies
  • Compile data, statistics and other information
  • Advise senior management
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Oversee payroll administration
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
  • Conduct research
  • Perform data entry
  • Provide customer service
  • Maintain and manage digital database
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
  • Perform administrative tasks
  • Consult with teachers, parents, administrators and community agencies
  • Prepare dance students for auditions and performances
  • Assist students with integration into the classroom and school setting
  • Supervise students during school and extracurricular activities
  • Discuss results and students' progress with them, their parents and school officials
  • Develop a checklist to assist schools in their preparation for a monitoring inspection
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field
Work Environment

The Richmond Academy of Dance Ltd is a fast-paced environment that requires strong organizational and communication skills. As a Human Resources Administrator, you will work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of our human resources functions.
