Influencer Director

We Are Social is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Influencer Director to lead our influencer marketing efforts in Toronto. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing influencer marketing strategies that drive business results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead influencer planning for a portfolio of client strategies, focusing on building and executing creative, innovative creator strategies and executions.
- Collaborate with our Creative and Editorial Teams to develop 'challenges' or 'briefs' to activate creatives in a collaborative and inspiring manner.
- Grow and lead a team of Influencer Managers/Coordinators to ideate and oversee execution of multi-platform programs leveraging trends and data-driven insights.
- Stay on top of emerging social trends, platforms, technologies, and creators in the Canadian market.
- Represent the company in industry forums, discussions, and thought leadership around creators, content, and the future of the creator economy in a web 3.0 era.
- Identify new business opportunities on behalf of clients and bring them to agency leadership for decision-making.
- A confident, passionate, and enthusiastic Influencer Director with 7-10 years of experience in a creative agency or brand environment working in social media, with experience managing influencer relations mandatory.
- Articulate and able to present confidently to both clients and internal teams.
- A curiosity for the brightest and best in social media and translating this into brilliant creative and editorial executions.
- Natural curiosity and understanding of consumer behaviors and mindset in social media.
