Carpentry Specialist

About the Role:
Franco's Carpenter is seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
Requirements:
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
- Permanent employment
- English as the primary language of work
- 37.5 hours per week
