Woodworking Specialist

At Omega Formwork Inc., we are seeking a skilled Woodworking Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in all aspects of woodworking and carpentry.

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Survey building locations and levels.
• Instruct apprentices.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks.
