About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Franco's Carpenter. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in all aspects of carpentry, from preparation to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
Requirements:
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field.
- Permanent employment.
- 37.5 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
