Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Tradesperson to join our team at Omega Formwork Inc. as a Formwork Specialist. This is a seasonal position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in carpentry and formwork construction.
  • The ability to work at heights and in noisy, dusty environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A valid first aid certificate and CPR certification.
  • A certificate in Fall Arrest Protection and WHMIS training.
  • A personal protective equipment (PPE) training certificate.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Carpenter Red Seal Certificate.
  • Experience with formwork construction and carpentry.
