Job Title: Maintenance Worker, Building and Facilities

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker, Building and Facilities to join our team at COMFORT INN. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment, fixtures, and appliances
  • Conduct safety and security checks to identify and address potential hazards
  • Assist with the maintenance of our building's physical appearance, including painting and drywall repair
  • Supervise other workers and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repairs
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
