Maintenance Worker, Building

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker, Building to join our team at COMFORT INN. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and drywall repair
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to building systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Supervise other workers and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Work with minimal supervision and take initiative to identify and resolve issues
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a maintenance or facilities role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
