Job Summary
We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Specialized Caregivers. This live-in caregiver position offers a unique opportunity to provide support to individuals in need, promote healthy relationships, and contribute to a positive living environment.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. A unionized workforce with yearly wage increases provides job security and stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support and care to individuals in our Specialized Supportive Housing
- Build and maintain healthy relationships through trauma-informed practices
- Promote a positive and healthy environment that supports individuals towards achieving educational, social, and recreational goals
- Focus on daily life skills development and resiliency
Requirements
- Certificate or diploma in Community Services, Health Care Aid, Human Services, or related discipline
- 2 – 4 years of experience in social services, preferably working with vulnerable populations or behavioral challenges
- Reliable transportation and a valid BC driver's license
- Knowledge of complex trauma, Autism, FASD, ODD, or other neurobiological conditions
- Clear Criminal Record Check (agency conducted, expenses covered)

Additional Information
