Caregiver - Primary Care Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Frances J. Takanen. As a primary care support specialist, you will provide exceptional care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for administering bedside and personal care, medications, and assisting with daily living activities. This role requires a high level of discretion, empathy, and communication skills to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes or community settings
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and other aspects of personal hygiene
- Administer medications and ensure accurate dosing
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary restrictions and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment
- Assist with exercise and mobility programs, promoting independence and well-being
- Degree in Health Sciences, Social Work, or related field (equivalent experience considered)
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in caregiving or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing
- A competitive salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 per year, based on experience
