Job Title: Tile Setter

Bridgewater Tile Ltd is seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in various settings, including residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring, marking, and cleaning.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and grouts to ensure a strong and durable bond.
  • Set tiles in place, using hand tools and power equipment to achieve precise cuts and alignments.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings, using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Pack and remove excess grout to create a smooth finish.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, ensuring a seamless finish.
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative designs and patterns.
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite tiles.
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces.
  • Install tile strips to complete the installation.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile setting or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and working at heights.
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bridgewater Tile Ltd is a dynamic and growing company that values its employees and provides a safe and healthy work environment. As a Tile Setter, you will work in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial properties, and will be required to travel to job sites as needed.

Language:

The primary language of communication is English.

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
