Northern Health is seeking a seasoned leader to drive the delivery of Health Information Management (HIM) services, fostering integrated care and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team responsible for registration, release of information, records management, health informatics, and information management services.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure HIM functions support integrated care and high-quality service delivery.
- Manage complex projects and quality improvement initiatives, and lead changes as needed to drive HIM services forward.
- Build and maintain high-level stakeholder relationships, and manage contractual arrangements related to HIM services.
- Bachelor's degree in health information science or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of progressively more responsible information management experience in a healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change and build and manage teams.
- Strong understanding of healthcare and the care process as it relates to records management and the electronic health record.
- Proven project management experience with multi-faceted projects and stringent timelines.
- Competitive salary range: $116,591 - $145,739.
