Food Store Operations Manager

Milton Halal Meat is seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Store Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management staff, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our food store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of staff, including apprentices, stages hands, and design team members, to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Sales and Customer Service: Assign sales workers to duties, handle customer requests and complaints, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, order merchandise, and authorize returns.
- Reporting and Administration: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, and oversee payroll administration.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews to ensure that staff are meeting expectations and provide feedback for improvement.

Requirements- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
This is a permanent position with a 35-40 hour work week. The work language is English.
