Food Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Food Store Operations Manager to join our team at Milton Halal Meat. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food store and ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional shopping experience.

SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and train staff members to ensure they meet our high standards of customer service and product knowledge.
- Assign duties and tasks to staff members based on their skills and availability.
- Hire, train, and evaluate new staff members to ensure they fit in with our team's values and culture.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure we always have a wide selection of products available.
- Authorize returns and exchanges for customers and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Establish work schedules and oversee payroll administration.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff members.
- College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g., business, hospitality).
- At least 7 months of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Reliability and flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean, organized workspace.
