Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Optical Sales Associate to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group. As an Optical Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing a personalized experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-quality service: Ensure that every patient interaction is positive and memorable, addressing their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate the POS system: Accurately input customer/patient and prescription information, collect payments, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace: Ensure that the sales floor and back office areas are clean, tidy, and well-organized, adhering to company standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the team: Work closely with optometrists, opticians, and other sales associates to provide a seamless and efficient patient experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on products and services: Develop a strong understanding of our products and services, including contact lenses, glasses, and other optical solutions.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
  • Strong customer service skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Basic math skills: Ability to accurately handle cash, process transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Computer skills: Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including POS systems and other technical tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in optical or retail: Previous experience in an optical or retail environment is preferred, but not required.
