Job Summary

The Licensed Optician - Retail is a key member of the EssilorLuxottica team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales in our luxury retail stores. As a Licensed Optician, you will be the expert in all things eyewear, guiding customers in selecting the perfect frames and lenses to meet their needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for every customer.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to drive sales and loyalty.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest eyewear trends and product knowledge to make informed recommendations to customers.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of eyewear orders, including taking measurements, adjusting and fitting frames, and executing all details.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay current on industry developments to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and inviting shopping environment.
  • Support the store manager in maintaining a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards and policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • State licensure or certification as an optician.
  • 2+ years of sales experience in the luxury service industry.
  • Knowledge of current optical theory and practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
