Job Summary

The Licensed Optician - Retail is a key member of the EssilorLuxottica team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales in our luxury retail stores. As a Licensed Optician, you will be the expert in optical sales and service, guiding customers in selecting the perfect frames and lenses to meet their needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for every customer.
  • Expertly guide customers in selecting frames and lenses that meet their lifestyle, wardrobe, and prescription needs.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of optical products, including frames, lenses, and coatings.
  • Ensure accurate measurements, adjustments, and fittings of eyewear.
  • Meet and exceed sales and service standards, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve sales and service goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, fashion trends, and industry developments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to EssilorLuxottica's high standards.
  • Support the Store Manager in training and mentoring colleagues.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • State licensure or certification as an optician.
  • 2+ years of sales experience in the luxury service industry.
  • Knowledge of current optical theory and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
