Overview

Mary Brown's Chicken is seeking a motivated Food Service Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service areas.


Compensation Package

We are offering a competitive compensation package, which includes an estimated annual salary of $40,000. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account the requirements of the position, as well as the current cost of living.


Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and working collaboratively with other team members to achieve our goals.


Key Responsibilities
  • Bringing clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and setting tables
  • Clearing and cleaning tables, trays, and chairs
  • Operating dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
  • Maintaining accurate records of food quantities used
  • Portioning and wrapping foods
  • Serving customers at counters or buffet tables
  • Stocking refrigerators and salad bars
  • Taking customer orders
  • Using manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
  • Receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:


  • No degree, certificate, or diploma
  • Less than 7 months of experience

Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
