Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Mary Brown's Chicken. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and welcoming dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Keep records of the quantities of food used.
  • Portion and wrap foods.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Take customers' orders.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.

Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions:

  • 40 hours per week.
  • Permanent work term.
  • Work language: English.
