Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security and Safety Specialist to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect crime;
  • Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and fire life safety systems to ensure prompt response to emergencies;
  • Assist guests with room access and respond to accidents or incidents in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify potential risks and take corrective action to mitigate them;
  • Respond to emergencies such as fires, medical emergencies, and violent situations;
  • Maintain accurate records of all incidents and near-misses;
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to resolve any incidents or issues that may arise.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations. You will also need to be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • No prior experience is required, but a background in security or law enforcement would be an asset;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations;
  • Physical fitness to perform duties in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
