Maintenance Planner

Vale Base Metals is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at Creighton Mine in Sudbury, Ontario. As a key member of our Maintenance Planning and Control Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our fixed equipment.
This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 8-hours, dayshift. As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities for our fixed equipment, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement maintenance plans for fixed equipment, ensuring that all work is prioritized and scheduled accordingly.
- Coordinate with the Scheduler to ensure that all maintenance activities are properly planned and executed.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance performance, including cost, schedule, and quality.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Provide relief supervision as needed, ensuring that all maintenance activities are properly supervised and executed.
- Grade 12 completed or GED equivalency is required.
- A College Diploma or University Degree in a related industrial field or a University Degree in a related engineering discipline is preferred.
- Valid Heavy Equipment trade certificate for the province of Ontario is preferred.
- Generic Supervisor Common Core is preferred.
