About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at Creighton Mine in Sudbury, Ontario. As a key member of our Maintenance Planning and Control Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance of our fixed equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement maintenance plans for fixed equipment, ensuring compliance with established processes and procedures.
  2. Coordinate with the Scheduler to ensure all required planning and scheduling routines are followed.
  3. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and work towards achieving plant targets.
  4. Identify and escalate critical issues that may impact the successful execution of maintenance schedules.
  5. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including superintendents, supervisors, and crew members.
Requirements
  1. Grade 12 completed or GED equivalency is required.
  2. A College Diploma or University Degree in a related industrial field or a University Degree in a related engineering discipline is preferred.
  3. Valid Heavy Equipment trade certificate for the province of Ontario is preferred.
  4. Generic Supervisor Common Core is preferred.
Experience
  1. Minimum 3 years of experience working within SAP and the Prometheus add-on as a Planner or Scheduler.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience leading crews.
  3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the trades.
