Pacific Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Education Assistant to join our school team.

We are looking for a trained individual who is passionate about supporting students with diverse needs, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and Behaviour Disorders. The successful candidate will possess a strong educational background and experience working with students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation
  • Monitor and report student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education Assistant certificate
  • Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Behaviour Disorders an asset
  • Criminal Record Check
