About the Opportunity

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in sales, customer service, and leadership. As a Sales Consultant/Asst Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell vehicles to achieve volume and gross profit targets
  • Act as the liaison between the dealership and the customer during the vehicle purchasing process
  • Create and deliver compelling sales pitches
  • Listen to customers to understand their vehicle needs and wants
  • Present and describe vehicle specifications, features, benefits, and pricing
  • Perform vehicle road test-drives with customers to demonstrate the vehicles
  • Execute the strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base
  • Assist Sales Consultants in completing vehicle transactions
  • Work closely with Sales Consultants to coach and improve performance relating to vehicle and product sales
  • Manage new vehicle inventory and maintain a well-balanced inventory
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of proven experience as a successful sales professional, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Experience in customer service and the ability to have meaningful conversations
  • Proficiency working with ERP systems and Customer Relationship Management Systems
  • OMVIC license in good standing and a valid driver's license
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations and adapt to a changing environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a passion for excellence in execution
