Job Title: Technical Support Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Technician to join our team at Fed IT. As a Technical Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, resolving technical issues, and ensuring seamless support for our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephone calls from users of our office automation tools
  • Guide users in the proper use of applications
  • Resolve first- and second-level problems by guiding users through the process and documenting requests, incidents, and solutions
  • Escalate and follow up on problem resolution
  • Manage equipment loans (laptops, internet keys, and mobile printers)

Requirements:

  • College diploma (DEC) in computer science or related field
  • At least 4 years' experience in IT support
  • Excellent customer service skills, good interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate easily with a variety of people
  • Fluency in both spoken and written French and English
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, Windows 11, and networking skills (an asset)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and work discreetly, courteously, and as a team player
