We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our team at St Catharines Medical Office.

Job Summary:

The Medical Office Assistant will provide administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office. This role will involve greeting patients, answering phone calls, and performing various clerical duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and visitors, and direct them to the appropriate area.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to messages in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform clerical duties, such as filing, sorting, and distributing mail.
  • Record and relay information to patients and healthcare staff.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Provide basic information to clients and the public.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliability and flexibility.
Work Environment:

The Medical Office Assistant will work in a healthcare institution, facility, or clinic, and will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
