Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our team at St Catharines Medical Office. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Reception: Greet patients and visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Clerical Support: Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and mail distribution.
  • Communication: Provide clear and concise information to patients, families, and healthcare providers, both verbally and in writing.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train
  • Work Setting: Health care institution, facility or clinic
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player
